Message from Camp
Fall 2003
You have got to see Chingachgook's new Hannaford Climbing Tower! It is awesome! This is our greatest innovation in adventure based programs for kids since the canoe was first used at Camp Chingachgook in 1913. It is all part of our 90th anniversary celebration, which is not over yet. Come back to Chingachgook this fall for a visit. We think you will appreciate all of the changes. If you can, come to our Fall Foliage Cruise on October 11th.
Our programs are full and busy. Summer Camp served over 1600 kids this year, including Teen Adventure Trips. Our School Outdoor Education programs in the spring, fall, and winter are growing. We now collaborate with over 100 area schools, providing environmental education and team building programs to over 5,000 students each year. Family Retreats fill the rest of Chingachgook's offerings with family and adult programs on Weekends... all year long.
Come back for a fall foliage walk around Chingachgook on Lake George and stop in at the office. We would love to see you again and allow those great camp memories to flood back to you.
Warm wishes from the Adirondack Mountains.
