BOTH MAJOR CHING LEAGUE TEAMS TO FIGHT IT OUT AGAIN
|
Tonight may well be the biggest
night this year in camp. Immedi-
ately after an early supper, the
Rip-roaring Rubber Arms will ag-
ain match their strngth and cunning
against the Whacky World Team.
World Captain Steve Kramer said
this afternoon that "there is no
way this team can lose" referring
of course to the World. Kramer
off-handedly made it known that
his off-the-cuff statement is, in
fact an Absolute Truth. Cess Poole,
a favorite on the Rubber Arms had
something else to say though. "The
only thing I have to say, " Cess men-
tioned, " is that if you push it hard
enough it will fall over." Captain
Quack of the Boss' Bombers noted
that "this game will be a good one,

CONVENTION PLATFORMS ANNOUNCED--
INTERMEDIATE CONVENTION
By PETER TUCKER
Here we are with a wrap-up on last
night's convention. The winners are
Adam Greshin (Mugwumps) for Gocernor,
Matt Lebowitz (Bullmoose) for Post-
master General and Norman Lent (Mug-
wumps)for Inspector General. Last
Tuesday, the program went as follws.
First came the guest speakers. Cess
and Joe Triplo told how the three
parties got their names. Then came
speeches. The winning candidates de-
livered the following messages in Do-
ty Hall. Governor Adam said he would
make "no unforfillable" promises.
Postmaster Lebo said he would not read
or eat people's mail and Norman Lent
said he would be fair. All in all it
looks like the Intermediate Unit is
in good hands this period.

but as nothing as exciting
as the last game that
ended up 15-14.
This game also has
a lot of side benefits
for evryone down to the
campers. Chingachgook
Stadium, expecting a
very large turn-out will
open a concession
that will serve 50 lbs.
of dry roasted peanuts
to the spectators. Hope-
fully if will all
be devoured by the campers.
The game will be
fully covered with a
play by play description
right from the press box.
The game will be started
after the entire paid
attendance will rise and
sing the national anthem.
Roving Rostrum will
make a cameo appearance
after making a narrow
escape from Steve Kramer's
feet.
Probably one of the
most exciting events of
the evening will be
Quacker himself in the
leading roll of umpire.
Sparks may fly and you'll
see them first in tom-
orrows Chinga Times.
