Muckrakers. Each party runs three

SLIDE SHOW AND TALK PRESENTED
OLYMPIC SPECTACULAR
Special To The Chinga Times

Last night in Doty Hall, Mr. Beaman
of Pilot Knob gave a very interest-
ing talk on "Track and Field" and
the Olympics. He covered the histo-
ry of th e Olympics from the first
"fixed" race in 1776 B.C. to the
Summer Olympics to be held later this
month in Munich, Germany. The guest
speaker talked of how the 26 mile
365 feet marathon began and grew in-
to what it is today. Mr. Beaman
was a track star himself who won
the Harvard-Oxford trophy back in
1930. He had alot of trophies
which campers were invited to
look at after the presentation was
over. The entire evening was really
worthwhile and Mr. Beanman recived
a good hand of applause at the end.

in Navy. Fester could have a T.N.T.
act for talent show.

CAMP DIRECTOR'S QUACKER QUOTES ON HIKES
--The Bomber's have a chance. Could
be a complete surprise and the upset
of the year. The World may be taking
this too lightly. I hope Ray Cody is
pitching--so we can go against the
best! Quacker Quotes is a syndicated
column of the Chingg Times!
